E-News - October 14, 2026
Dear St. Philip's Family,

At St. Philip’s, we are entering an exciting new season in our church's life. As we move through this important transition, we are grateful for our strong foundation and energized by the opportunities ahead to grow in faith, deepen our connections, and expand our ministry.

Stewardship is about much more than supporting a budget.  It expresses our faith—a grateful response to all that God has given us and an opportunity to participate in the work God is doing through St. Philip’s.

This year, we continue our stewardship theme, Harvest: Sowing, Growing, and Gathering, inspired by 2 Corinthians 9:6–7 and its call to sow generously and give joyfully. Every harvest begins with sowing. When we give of our time, talents, and financial resources, we plant seeds that strengthen our church, nurture children and families in faith,  care for our neighbors, serve those in need, and share the love of Christ in our community and beyond.

Christian giving is not about obligation or pressure. It is a personal and prayerful response to God’s generosity. We encourage each of you to prayerfully consider what God is calling you to give and then to respond with a joyful and generous heart.

As the Vestry of St. Philip’s, we invite you to make an Estimate of Giving for the coming year. Together, we will bring forward our pledges at our Harvest Celebration & Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 14, or during worship services on Sunday, November 15.

Every commitment matters. Each pledge is a personal expression of faith and gratitude—a commitment between you and God that helps make the ministry of St. Philip’s possible.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity and faithfulness that have brought St. Philip’s to this moment, and we look forward with hope and excitement to what lies ahead. Together, let us sow faithfully, grow together, and trust God for the harvest.

With much gratitude,

St. Philip’s Vestry
